Sensational singer Matto Imole, is the Laoudit Artiste of the Month for October.
The talented Nigerian Afropop singer, whose real name is Oludare Mathew Ibukun fondly called Matto Imole, is the Laoudit Music artiste of the month for October.
The singer and songwriter whose music career officially began in 2020 is from Kwara State but based in Ibadan.
Ever since then, he has been consistently dropping new songs. His recent output is a song titled, “Ori” which is still enjoying massive airplay till date.
In an exclusive interview with Laoudit, the talented singer speaks about his career and the industry in general.
What made you realize that music was your path ?
I can’t categorically say this was what prompt into doing music. I just see it as a part of me
How would you describe the music that you typically create ?
Well I put alot of things into consideration before recording a song. But I’ll say my my song is motivational and spiritual.
Who are your biggest musical influences ?
I look up to the big stars in the industry, and I learn one or two from each of them. But majorly I’ll say my manager.
What makes your music special / unique ?
The way I give my sound and also my style of music.
Describe how you make a track from scratch ?
That a long story cause it’s not easy to make from scratch. but in most cases I relate to the happenings around me and just vibe.
Which of your tracks are you most proud of ?
All my track because most time I listen to my song I always feel like am I the one that compose this song ?
