Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has been named the winner of the Best African Music Act award at the 2021 MOBO Awards held just now in the United Kingdom.
At the just concluded MOBO Awards 2021 show, Wizkid was named as the winner of the Best African Music Act category which also included heavyweight names like Davido and Burna Boy. The show was held on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021.

The MOBO Awards is an annual British awards ceremony that celebrates achievements in “music of black origin”. The show honors the best of the best in Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African Music. The 2021 edition of the MOBO Awards was held at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021.

Wizkid was announced as the Best African Music Act of the year at the MOBO Awards 2021 from a category that also included the likes of Davido and Burna Boy. Other nominees for the same category include CKay, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Tems, NSG, King Promise, and Ayra Starr. The show also saw Tiwa Savage present an award while Tems also performed on stage.
