Wizkid breaks record, beats Burna Boy, Davido, Angelique Kidjo, others with his newest achievement

Wizkid, a-list artist and, multiple award-winning singers, continues to record new milestones in his music career.

Wizkid has once again broken a new record as he becomes the First African artiste to have his album certified RIAA Gold.

According to Chart Data, Wizkid’s song, Made in Lagos’ is the first African album to be certified RIAA Gold.

Wizkid beats three-time Grammy award-winning singer, Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, and other African artists to achieve this new feat.

The Chart read,

“@wizkidayo’s ‘Made In Lagos’ is the first African album to be certified RIAA Gold”.

Wizkid has no doubt made many Nigerians and Africa proud with his many achievements.

The singer has over 64 prestigious awards to his credit and this left many celebrities stupefied.

With awards like Grammy, MTV Emas, Billboard Music Award, Headies award, MOBO awards, and many others, there was no doubt that Wizkid is an undisputed champion.

Recall also that Wizkid recently received a million dollars to headline the Rolling Loud festival in Miami.

The singer headlined the festival alongside American artists like Future, Dave, and others.

His fans went ecstatic over the good news as they seized the opportunity to shade Davido and Burna Boy.

To add to it, one of American rap groups, Migos opened up for Wizkid at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami.

Wizkid isn’t the only one making Nigerians proud with his numerous achievements.

Burna Boy had broken a new record in Atlanta.

The singer who keeps making history and making Nigerians proud added a new feat to his several achievements in Atlanta.

Burna Boy had given many American artists a run for their money as he sold out a 21,000 capacity at State Farm Arena.

With his new achievement, Burna Boy became the first African artiste to sell out all his shows in America.
