Making this gesture on the 5th of October which happens to be World’s Teacher Day, Teni had apparently gone back to her alma mater, Apata Memorial, which was established by her late father, Army Brigadier-General, S.O Apata, and had awarded a teacher with a brand new Toyota Camry citing “diligence, integrity and how much you work”, as the reasons.
Information gleaned from the comments section on the now-viral post has it that the beneficiary is a Mathematics teacher known as Mr Ofudje.
