The line ‘Folake for the night’ has become common amongst social media users in anticipation of the song’s release. Pheelz had initially uploaded a video of the snippet on TikTok, which had gone viral on the platform before BNXN followed up with a video of him vibing to the song before the title was confirmed by Pheelz.

Produced by fast-rising beatmaker Miichkel, ‘Finesse‘ serves as Pheelz‘s first official single for 2022. It is a follow-up to his previously released project, the ‘Hear Me Out‘ extended play.
