Meet princess Temitope Adesegun, sixth wife of the Ooni of Ife

As the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi set to tie the knot for the sixth time today, many have dug out the identity of his new wife.

Princess Temitope Morenikeji Adesegun, the soon to be sixth wife of the Monarch is the CEO of Hopes Alive Initiatives (HAI). Her initiative is powered by the House of Odua inspired by the Ooni.

She will join the ranks of Olori Mariam, Olori Elizabeth, Olori Tobi, Olori Ashley and Olori Ronke, whom the 48-year-old monarch married in one month, an unrivalled feat in Nigeria.

Ooni’s spokesperson, Moses Olafare, says the new Olori is an Ijebu Princess.

She is a princess from Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North LG of Ogun State.

Princess Temitope has a Diploma in Linguistics, University of Lagos; Diploma in Data Processing, University of Lagos; and Bsc in Business Admin, University of Lagos.

Ms Temitope has vast experience working in both the public and private sectors. She is also a humanitarian.

She is a certified alumnus of several universities, including the University of Oxford, United Kingdom; INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France; University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, United Kingdom; and Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the United States.

Princess Temitope is a TV Presenter ‘Health-Wise’. She ran a Health Advocacy Program, for Lagos State Ministry of Health under Governor Raji Fasola aired for four years.
