According to the police, the gang is answerable for the homicide of Nelson Nwafor and Fortune Obemba, each college students of the Rivers State College, RSU; and Pleasure Adoki, a scholar of Administration Science within the College of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT.
Briefing journalists on the police headquarters in Port Harcourt, Commissioner of police, Joseph Gobum Mukan stated the three victims have been kidnapped at Choba.
Leader of the gang, Vivid Iheachi, who led police to the arrest of different gang members, stated he ordered the killing because one of the victims ran away along with his N4 million.
He stated the preliminary goal was Nelson Nwafor who he claims betrayed him and fled to Ghana along with his N4 million share of an undisclosed deal they struck final 12 months.
He stated he organized for Nelson to be kidnapped. Nonetheless, on the day of the kidnapping, Nelson was with Fortune and Pleasure who have been then kidnapped together with him.
