CKay’s ‘Love Nwatiti’ Achieves Gold Certification in France

Nigerian singer, CKay’s global smash single Love Nwatiti has been certified gold in France after crossing 15 million total streams and 100k units sold.
CKay’s Love Nwatiti which is currently a global smash hit has become gold certified in France, becoming the second Nigerian song to do so in a matter of weeks. This was shared via Instagram on Wednesday, the 13th of October 2021.

Just last week, we revealed that Rema’s Dumebi, a song released in 2019 had been certified gold in France. Coincidentally, Love Nwatiti was also released in the same year on the CKay The First EP. The reception for the song was amazing and the singer decided to create multiple remixes, one which pushed it further to many different countries and demographics.

The recent successes of Love Nwatiti has spelled more achievements for CKay, like getting a gold certification in France. The singer also recently became the first African artist to cross 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify. That number is rising even more by the day and he’s already close to 25 million as it stands.
