CKay‘s Love Nwantiti has pulled up to 500,000 unit sales in the United States, thereby earning it a gold certification from the RIAA. This was shared via Instagram on Wednesday, the 12th of January 2022.

CKay was one of the standout acts of 2021 with his 2019 song, Love Nwantiti gaining global recognition on a wide scale this year. The song broke countless records and it is now giving the artist more recognition in terms of award nominations like the BRIT Awards and certifications around the world.
CKay was also listed on TikTok’s Emerging Artists of 2021 list along with Amaarae after the Love Nwantiti sound broke the 1 billion video views milestone last year.
