“April Fool Prank?”- Nollywood Actor Dejo Tufulu’s Son Speaks On His Death

Nollywood comic actor, Dejo Adetokunbo popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu has been reported dead.

The Nollywood icon is known for his roles in Yoruba movies and his comic style of acting.

He would have been 50 years old on the 31st of May.

A friend to Dejo, Kunle Afod, posted about the sad incident.

Kunle Adetokunbo popularly known as “Dejo Tunfulu” is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer, and producer.

He was born on 31st of May, 1969 in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State and hails from Ikija area of Abeokuta in Ogun State. He is known for “Hally The Drummer” (2016) and “Jide Jendo” (2020). The actor was aged 52.

Other Nollywood actresses like Biodun Okeowo, Kemi Korede have confirmed his demise in their posts, although circumstances surrounding his alleged death remain unknown.

Meanwhile, fans find it hard to believe because the comic actor’s demise was announced on April 1, April fool day, a day notorious for pranking friends and family.

The late actor’s son has now confirmed the sad news in a chat with radio OAP, Adeyemi Olabode.

According to the OAP, when he tried the late actor’s phone number to speak to him to debunk the rumours, his phone was picked up by his son who confirmed that he’s truly dead.

“I saw the post about your demise and hurriedly called your line so you can debunk the ‘April fool’ news, but alas! It was picked by your son. You were so kind and down to earth.
