We present to you Laoudit Artiste of the Month for May 2022, meet “X3A_P”.
X3A_P is talented singer who discovered his passion for music right from childhood.
The promising act whose real name is “Falade Precious” hails from the south-western part of Nigeria, Ekiti state to be precise.
His recent project was a song titled “Sweet Melanin” featuring Kingwhite which was released few weeks ago.
The song which is on all digital platforms is currently trending like wildfire across the country.
During an exclusive interview with X3A_P he discussed extensively about his journey so far in the music industry.

What made you realize that music was your path?
uhm, I really can’t say I realized it but I’ve always been a lover of music. But I discovered I could do it after I met this guy who is a singer and always played his songs for me. He’s actually a younger brother to my immediate Neigbor. He developed that hidden talent in me and boom it all happened, I was shocked Tbvh and what’s even more confusing is that, it all happened in a space of just 1month.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
I love God and I love Girls! 😒😋 so literally my music as I’ve gotten to understand, is basically either about God or Girls. But I’m trying to be circular about it all so I could meet up the standard of each and every of my fan listen to my song. I.e satisfying their ears, heart and mind with the kind of music they want to listen to or like. And doing this thing, I’m moving with the flow. I don’t want to force it or sound like someone else, I just want to be me even tho I have role models and favorite artists that I listen to, I just want to me in all music I do or create (have my own sound and all)
Who are your biggest musical influences ?
First of all I’ll say Kingwhite (who happens to be the dude I talked about earlier [my Neighor’s younger brother] I featured him on my first ever track because he influenced me with this music thing. He’s honestly number 1 then Davido! 😋 (OBO)
What makes your music special/unique?
I think (judging from reviews I’ve gotten so far and what I noticed about my own music is the Message. I feel to every line I say there’s a message and it all adds up! Also, the RHYMES.
Describe how you make a track from scratch?
First of all, i listen to beats, then I’ll draft out how the sound of song should be in my head, then I’ll insert words into it. Those words I insert in it, I get the topics from them, and then i just discover there’s a messages I’m passsing without even realizing it. It’s just magical honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how everything has gone so far. But I’m grateful to GOD.
Which of your tracks are you most proud of ?
I’m proud of all my tracks. It’s a no bad song, at the end of the day by God’s Grace. Tho I just have 1 out and still have about 4 new records but unreleased.

Have you always been interested in music?
Was there a particular song/performance that made you say “Woah! I want to do that!” ?
Yes! I’ve always been interested in music. I had to even pray to God to know how to sing, even if it means taking my “civil engineering” profession 😂
And yes! There was a time LAYCON came to my school, the love he got eh, just for being a star and an artist was mind blowing ! So I got geared.

Shutting down shows all around the world living my best life with my beautiful wife and kid 🙏 😋
What project are you working on ?
Right now, Im working on an EP where I’ll be pouring all my heart into songs.
