Nigerian actor and late pastor, Bimbo Odukoya’s son Jimmy has taken to his Instagram page to celebrate an achievement in his career with mixed feelings, amidst the mourning of his stepmother Nomthi.

According to the post shared on his page, Jimmy will be featuring in a movie titled ‘Woman King’ alongside American actress and producer Viola Davis and Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo.

Jimmy Odukoya, in the emotional post, noted that the timing of his latest achievement is crazy to him but believes that God has a way of continuing to shine a light during difficult times.

Jimmy noted that he is truly humbled and honoured to star alongside iconic actor Viola Davis and other amazing casts.

Recall the founder and senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, has said he will not question God’s will, in reaction to the death of his wife, Nomthi.

Nomthi’s death was announced on Tuesday. A statement issued by the church revealed she battled cancer for two years.

Taking to his social media handle Instagram page, Pastor Taiwo said he loved Nomthi with all his heart and he cannot fight with the will of God.

“With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.

 “She stood on the Word of God, and she fought. She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life.

“I loved her with all my heart, but who am I to fight with the will of God.

“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Nomthi,” he wrote.
