Late Nigerian music icon, Sound Sultan would have been celebrating another birthday today and his wife, Farida is remembering him with a lovely note.
Farida Fasasi shared a note via her Instagram page celebrating the late Sound Sultan on his Birthday, extolling his amazing virtues and their time together. She shared this via her Instagram on Saturday, the 27th of November 2021.
The singer died on the morning of Sunday, the 11th of July 2021. His brother, Kayode Fasasi announced that Sound Sultan is dead with a press release. The singer was 44 years of at the time of his death and had a long battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
Sound Sultan is one of the pioneers of the current Nigerian sound we enjoy, having worked with virtually all the musicians in the music scene, new and old. He has a career total of 7 studio albums and he will definitely be remembered for classic songs like ‘Mathematics‘, ‘Area‘, and ‘Kokose‘ with Wizkid.
