After years of anticipation, the Mavin-Jozing superstar has finally released his debut album dubbed ‘Rave & Roses‘, a 16-track thriller that also serves as an indicator of his three years anniversary in the music business. The project is purposefully star-studded as Rema collaborates with Chris Brown on ‘Time N Affection‘, 6lack on ‘Hold Me‘, Yseult on ‘Wine‘ and of course AJ Tracey on the recently released ‘FYN‘.
In an industry where artists seek to distinguish their sound from others, Rema has described his own sound as Afrorave, a sub-genre of the acclaimed Afrobeats genre.
