Nigerian singer, Oxlade, has finally responded to his leaked tape that has been making rounds on social media.
The lewd video became viral a few days ago after it was uploaded on Snapchat and quickly traveled to Twitter. The video of the singer enjoying a steamy escapade with a lady received lots of reactions on social media.
Oxlade has however admitted that he’s now aware that his leaked tape is now in the public domain and there is nothing he can do about the past.
He apologized to the lady as well as his fanbase. He attributed his exposed tape to treachery and betrayal from some people we assume are very close to him.
He wrote:
“I am conscious that my business is out in the public and I am not the type of person to put my personal business out there.
Betrayals are very real and In this same token i want to apologize to the woman in the video, who did not deserve this type of exposure and lastly Apologies to my fans and well-wishers.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian actress, Allwell Ademola has discussed how people view actors based on the parts of their lives that are open to the public.
In her remark, the actress acknowledged that actresses are in the public eye and that it is easy to criticize them as a result, but she also stated that it is wrong to accuse them when those who are not in the limelight do the same things that actresses are chastised for.
In her words: “A lot of things are perceived wrongly. The truth is that we are in the faces of people. They see us every day on TV.
“It is very easy for people to point fingers but things are happening everywhere in the world. Things are happening in different sectors.
“I don’t think there is any neighborhood in Nigeria where there are no single mums. Is it actresses that live in those places? It is easy to point accusing fingers at celebrities because we are in the faces of the people.”
