The Oscars are awards for artistic and technical merit in the American and international film industry. The awards are regarded by many as the most prestigious, significant awards in the entertainment industry worldwide.
Expressing his disappointment on his Instagram page moments ago, Kunle Afolayan wrote:
“I am so pleased and delighted that the whole world has decided to tag ANIKULAPO film a masterpiece even though the Nigeria Oscar selection committee think its not worth submitting for the Oscars. Will keep doing my own thing”
The news has since upset many Nigerians and even global fans
