The Marlian records owner debunked Mohbad’s allegation of being harassed by the label.
Nigerian singer, rapper and music executive, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has reacted to his signee Mohbad’s claim of being harassed by members of Marlian Records.
Mohbad took to Twitter on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, to share videos that showed him with some body wounds, claiming that he was beaten because he tried to change his manager, who was “their brother”.
Responding to the video which has circulated on the internet, Naira Marley went on Instagram live to debunke the allegations made by Mohbad, claiming that the rapper was involved in a fight in which he (Naira Marley) tried to calm the situation.
The Marlian Records boss, who insinuated that Mohbad might have been under the influence, also made it known that Mohbad is not managed by his manager like he claimed online and revealed that the rapper had already changed his manager.
However, in an update of events, Mohbad reacted to the live vidoe, stating that his label boss was lying. He went on to state that he is in his right sense and his life is being severely threatened. He wrote:
Everything he said on the live video is a blatant lie. This isn’t the first time. The last video was made out to look like I was high or overreacting. My life is being severely threatened.
