Nollywood actress Mary Njoku and her husband, the boss have come under heavy criticism after many people alleged graduates in their company are offered thirty thousand Naira salary.
Defending the backslashes, the actress, in a post shared on her Instagram page, said there is a need to stop quoting educational qualifications and start working on employers’ contribution.
According to the actress, if a graduate performs two million Naira service, the same should be offered as a salary, and if he/provides ten thousands of Naira services, they should get the same.
Mary Njoku, who opined that education is an acquisition of skill and not a certificate, said all graduates should question themselves on how important is their work to the growth of a company.
Controversial on-air personality Daddy Freeze, while reacting, tackles Mary Njoku and her husband for underpaying their staff.
According to Daddy Freeze, his maid earns thirty-five thousand Naira salary, and no graduate should earn below fifty thousand Naira as salary.
