The music entrepreneur who is said to be responsible for Ed Sheeran’s appearance on Fireboy DML’s ‘Peru’ is dead.

Jamal Edwards, a British entrepreneur, author, director, and disk jockey, has been announced dead.
The late 31-year old was the founder of the online urban music platform SB.TV, which propelled artists like Dave, Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, and Jessie J into the limelight.

Jamal Edwards was appointed an MBE for services to music at the age of 23 and was an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, which helps young people set up their own businesses.
Words on the street also have it that he was responsible for Grammy-winning singer Ed Sheeran’s appearance on Nigerian afrobeats star Fireboy DML‘s smash tune ‘Peru’, a song which has gone on to top several charts, including breaking into the billboard.
The cause of the death of the iconic music mogul is yet to be revealed.
