Controversial Social media activist cum relationship expert, Reno Omokri has counseled Nigerians to use singers Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to market the country.
According to him, Nigeria made a grave mistake not using Fela to market the country when he was alive, the same way Jamaica used Bob Marley to market their country.
He also went further to state that the United Kingdom is using Nigerian-born actor, John Boyega to market themselves to the world, as he shared a giant photo of Boyega at Heathrow airport, London.
He therefore, is of the opinion that Nigerians should use Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy to market Nigeria to avoid a repeat of such a mistake, fronting Wizkid, Davido and Burna boy as Nigeria’s selling point will catapult Nigeria into limelight
Reno Omokri took to his social micro-blogging platform, Twitter;
“A big national mistake we made was not using Fela to market Nigeria the way Jamaica used Bob Marley to market their country. Fela was our greatest ever artiste. Sadly, he is gone. Now, we have Wizkid, Davido and Burna. Let us not repeat bad history. Let’s use them!”
