The heavyweight rapper had to change his name from Poe after he joined Mavin Records.
Nigerian ace rapper, Ladipo Eso, popularly known as Ladipoe, has opened up on why he changed from his former name, Poe.
The Mavin Records heavyweight, whose new single ‘Big Energy‘ is already gaining traction, is currently one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s most sought-after rappers.
Speaking in an interview with ace media personality Kemi Smallz at Cool FM, the rapper revealed that he had to change his name from “Poe” to “Ladipoe” due to copyright issues.

According to the father of one, his song ‘Man Already’ was being showcased in the discography of an American songstress whose name was equally Poe, making him choose his current name, Ladipoe, which is a twitch of his original name, Ladipo.
The BET Award-nominated rapper went on to speak about his new single, ‘Big Energy’, his career, and other interesting topics.
