The veteran OAP is being mourned by the music industry after his shocking death.
Illbliss, Onome Oyaide & Darey
Nigerian musicians Illbliss, Darey and others have taken to social media to mourn the death of veteran Nigerian on-air personality, Onome Oyaide.
The ace OAP, popularly known as Bigtyme, who worked with Rhythm FM, was announced dead in the early hours of Sunday May 1st, 2022 by fellow OAP, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi.
Musicians like Darey Art Alade, Illbliss, and more paid tribute to the late OAP for his contribution to the development of the music industry. Darey wrote:
An absolute influence on what we now have as today’s Nigerian Hip Hop and Pop culture.
A true gooner, music head, professional broadcaster with a solid voice and an all round good guy. Happy ascension brother Onome Oyaide aka Big Tyme. This hurts. Love and light.
Rapper Illbliis also took to his Instagram to mourn Onome Oyaide. Part of his statement read:
Death is truly So Cruel
Death took away my brother
My true Friend
My Family.
God should have spared you bro
