Nigerian filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, has reacted to the recent death of his nephew, Viano, who is the son of his late brother, Chico.
Reacting, Zeb said his nephew’s death brought back memories of his brother who died on December 25, 2020.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, Ejiro said, “The death of Viano brought back memories of the death of my brother, Chico.
My nephew has gone to be with the Lord and it is tough to take but we strongly believe that God is on the throne.
We pray that He will give us the strength to get through this period and not to experience a thing like this again. It is a sad situation but one cannot question God.
“Viano died of cancer. He had actually been in the hospital since his father was alive. We had been taking him to the United States of America, where he was born, for treatment.
It had been off and on for the same treatment. Unfortunately, he is gone.”
On how Viano’s mother was coping with the death of Viano, who was her last child, Ejiro said, “She is devastated but I have told her that she has to be strong.
It is not easy for a woman to lose her husband and barely a year after, lose her son too. She is shattered but God will take control.”
