Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML was a guest on Deezer recently in a new feature video where he broke down the making of his latest smash hit, Peru.
In the video, Fireboy explains how Peru was created and the idea behind it, also explaining to Deezer how Ed Sheeran got to feature on the remix. The video was shared via Instagram on Wednesday, the 29th of December 2021.

The Afrobeats star who recently dropped the remix for Peru featuring Grammy Award-winning singer Ed Sheeran is already making waves with his decision to put the UK act on the remix.

Speaking to Deezer in this new video, Fireboy explains how he created Peru on a trip to San Francisco this year, also giving an insight into the idea behind the song as evidenced in the lyrics. The singer also revealed how excited Ed Sheeran was when he sent the song to him requesting for a remix.
