Beninese veteran singer, songwriter, and performer Angélique Kidjo did not forget to praise Nigerian singers Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and Mr. Eazi for their contributions towards her recent Grammy win.
The 61-year-old yesterday, on April 3, 2021, won a Grammy at the 64th Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Album, beating Nigerian superstar Wizkid and others who were nominated in that category for the prize.

At the event, Angélique Kidjo, during her winning speech, praised Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr. Eazi, and others for their different contributions to her album “Mother Nature,” which won. She said:
