Ruger has heated the Nigerian music conversation up by several degrees as he takes shots at his contemporary BNXN (Buju) in a tweet. Read all about it below.
Afro-dancehall sweetheart, Ruger, has fired shots at his colleague and contemporary BNXN formerly known as Buju following a question from a Twitter user.

Shots had been fired from Ruger on the 14th of July to BNXN following a tweet from a Twitter user who stated that Buju was a better singer than he was. The conversation which had developed from a question and answer session regarding Ruger then saw the star respond with a statement explaining the difference between the two acts. Ruger said; “I love buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?”
Ruger had prior to that moment enjoyed a candid QnA with his fans that saw him share on his love for horror movies, a song he has with his label boss, D Prince, his feelings on being nominated for the Headies Next Rated Awards and more.
Interestingly, Ruger, BNXN fka Buju, Ayra Starr and Zinoleesky are all contenders for the Headies Next Rated Awards for 2022.
