Nigerian musicians continue to take Afrobeats global as Adekunle Gold and Naira Marley have been slated to perform at NPR’s Black Music month concert.

The concert which is set up in commemoration of Juneteenth, an American holiday to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans will start from the 1st of June down till the 30th.
According to Tiny Desk Series Producer, Bobby “We will publish eleven performances representing the past, present, and future of Black music. This is the first time each of the eleven acts will play the Tiny Desk”.
Adekunle Gold and Naira Marley will share the NPR stage alongside acts like Usher, FKA Twigs, Monica and eight others.
The Tiny Desk has previously hosted a number of Nigerian acts like Fireboy DML, Tems, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy in the past.
