Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has called out Eko Star Film & Tv Award for ignoring her yet again, as a female producer, after years of hard work and dedication.
According to a post she shared on her social media page, not belonging to certain cliques can mar your success as a female music producer and filmmaker.
However, she promises to keep producing even if some people do not like it.
In her words
“Lol clique and gossip will not kill Nollywood I swear. Sentimental set of people. Kill Joy. I will continue to produce. Fuck who doesn’t like it.
Am unproblematic. I give these people roles smh. keep snubbing some of us una hear? Acting all popsh like are serious? Shitting pple. Everything is sentiment in Nollywood”
You would also recall that actress, Ruth Kadiri called them out for this same reason last night, after she was overlooked yet again.
She said , “I will not be pressured. I will keep working hard. @lagosstategovt @moabudu @ijayonah @nifsummit thanks for overlooking me and congrats to everyone who got recognized. 
the film industry is controlled by women, so if you’re going to do it, do it right or don’t do it at all”
